The Andrew Marr Show: Much Ado About Nothing

The producer's must have had a field-day casting for this one. A couple who publicly admit to neglecting children, a bald-headed woman who admits to aborting them, and a bald-headed man whose policies enable them to starve. All they needed was a song from The Smiths to round things off!

And I am SO happy that the Leveson report does not look likely to be implemented, particularly as most of those who schlepped up to the hearings to moan their hearts out (the Dowlings being a rare exception) courted press controversy in the first place.

Footballer Robbie Rogers Comes Out: But Only When It's Safe To Do So

Such is the homophobia of football however that he would never have dared come out while he was with the team. Look what they did to poor Justin Fashinu, reiterating my 'dictum' that the only good homophobe is a dead one! Believe me, not all gay men are screaming, puerile queens like Liberace was. And believe me, too, there are a lot more besides Robbie who are compelled to live a lie because of  prejudice.

Ex-Leeds ace Rogers: I’m gay

12

FORMER Leeds United and USA midfielder Robbie Rogers has revealed he is gay — and has retired from football aged 25.

Rogers joined the Elland Road club last January on a free transfer from Columbus Crew and had a spell on loan with Stevenage earlier this season.
He was released by Leeds last month and had recently said on Twitter that he was doing work experience at a magazine.
In a blog post, he said: “Secrets can cause so much internal damage. People love to preach about honesty, how honesty is so plain and simple.
“Try explaining to your loved ones after 25 years you are gay. Try convincing yourself that your creator has the most wonderful purpose for you even though you were taught differently.
“I always thought I could hide this secret. Football was my escape, my purpose, my identity.
“Football hid my secret, gave me more joy than I could have ever imagined... I will always be thankful for my career.
“I will remember Beijing, the MLS Cup, and most of all my team-mates.
“I will never forget the friends I have made a long the way and the friends that supported me once they knew my secret.
“Now is my time to step away. It’s time to discover myself away from football.“
Rogers was tipped to be a big star in US football after joining Dutch side Heerenveen as a youngster.
But he failed to make the breakthrough in Holland and returned to the MLS with Columbus.
After winning 18 caps for the USA national team, a recommendation from Jurgen Klinsmann earned him a move to Leeds last year.
He was signed by Simon Grayson who was soon sacked and a number of injuries meant he failed to earn a regular spot in Neil Warnock’s matchday squad.
Further injuries again hampered the Californian’s progress at Stevenage before he returned to Yorkshire where Leeds terminated his contract by mutual consent.

Jehovah's Witnesses

These are a national pariah, a disease, a plague. We're barely halfway into the month and we've had them FOUR times. They stand outside on the green, grouped together like gruesome, plotting, seedy-looking weasels. The men usually wear Greenwood-stroke-Oxfam raincoats and look like flashers. The women wear twinsets they've had since Mafeking, and carry cheap shopping bags within they have copies of The Watchtower that nobody wants to see. None of them would give a blind man a light, but they hammer on your door and start spouting their religious tosh, breathing the odour of cabbage across your doorstep. One of my father's aunties once opened the upstairs window and, after being told by one of these creeps that she would not go to heaven for hanging out her washing on a Sunday, rewarded her nuisance caller with the contents of the chamber pot. These Jehovah's Shitmesses hate giving blood to dying children, they hate gays, they hate everyone who is not them. I have yet to see one house here open the door to listen to their crap, or to tell them to go forth and multiply. There should be a law prohibiting them from walking the streets. After all, they do this woth prostitutes--and I know which I would rather have walking through my front gate!

Richard III's Tomb

I really hope they don't decide to put Richard's remains on display ahead of his funeral. This poor man has suffered enough indignity without having to be gawped at and photographed by hundreds of Chinese tourists and giggly schoolchildren who has no idea who he is. Place his coffin on display, yes, but that's it. It wouldn't have done to have had Princess Diana on display with her eye hanging out, so please don't do this to Richard.

And regarding The Sun's feature today, calling him 'King Dick'. Show some respect, whichever moron wrote that. Then again, what's to be expected of a newspaper whose moral stance is such that they report the South Africa Pistoris tragedy by having a picture of the victim flashing her tits on the front page?

We Do NOT Need Press Regulation

Some time ago, I opened an e-petition over something I felt passionate about at the time, but about which today I do not give a monkey's left testicle--sometimes you have to let the lunatics run the asylum, and it's a pleasant experience watching them self-combust, one by one.

I recall their opinion at the time that, even if I did acquire the requisite 100,000 signatures, nothing would be done. Now, there's an e-petition called 'Hacked Off', and the 24/7 McCann Twitterers are giving minute by minute updates on how many people have signed the darned thing--they did the same with one of the Facebook groups, the idea being that if you collect enough Green Shield Stamps, you'll get a shiny new jollopy. Well, the garage door's still locked on that one, and this one will be no different. And most of the signatures are provided by fruit-loops so brainwashed by their cause that, if someone asked them to, they would boil their children in oil and sell them to soup-kitchens to raise even more good money to be thrown after bad.

I don't like David Cameron or this coalition government. They're robbing the poor to give to the rich, and wasting too much money on overseas problems, giving millions to lost causes, and letting our pensioners and sick suffer. They spent millions on the Leveson Enquiry, which saw rather a lot of up-themselves people moaning about how badly they've been misrepresented by our press--when they've never been afraid of courting the press in the first place to get themselves noticed. As sure as eggs are eggs, it will all backfire in them in the most spectacular fashion.

Okay, there's more than a few tabloid journalists I would like to see taking a nose-dive over Beach Head in a minibus. I've never made a secret of the fact and have told them so, to their faces. But, by and large, our press do a good job and do NOT need to be gagged. Celebrities--real or self-created--do not need to be beyond reproach. If they step out of line, the public needs to know about it.

Therefore, no matter how many signatures this silly e-petition gets, the Leveson decision will not be implemented. And if it was left to me, I would go through the list and fine everyone who signed it, say, £100. Then they could give the money to a deserving cause, such as the ones who cannot afford to pay their heating bills right now.

The Pope To Resign..Hallelujah!

Shocking news!
We knew he would be cursed the moment he touched a McCann.
But the times young men have gone to bed thinking about this vile old homophobe with a problem on their mind--only to wake up with the solution on the sheets.
I liked the last Pope, and respected him.
This one will not be missed.

Jon Venables

I disagree completely. I think he SHOULD be released from prison--in a wooden box. I read some of the police report and saw what him and his similarly vile friend did to this little boy. It matters little that they were children themselves. They knew exactly what they were doing. I would have put them on a bacon-slicer and cut off one piece each day, and the same applies to whichever idiots may have come up with the idea that he might fit back into society. He won't.

James Bulger 20 years on: "Don't release Jon Venables - he was born evil" says Denise Fergus

The mum of murdered toddler James Bulger will make an emotional personal appeal to parole board chiefs to keep one of her son’s killers behind bars.
Denise Fergus is furious Jon Venables could be released this summer as she believes he is still a danger to the public.
The 45-year-old revealed she will talk to the board for the first time to try to stop the killer going free.
Speaking on the eve of the 20th anniversary of little James’s death, Denise said she believes Venables, 30, is a psychopath who has shown a disturbing pattern of sexual deviancy.
Denise pointed to his recent conviction for downloading child porn, for which he was returned to jail two years ago, as evidence he has not reformed.

Venables also posed online as a woman of 35 pretending to have an eight-year-old daughter to rent to paedophiles and had sex with a guard at the secure unit where he was held as a child.
Denise said: “My message to the parole board is don’t release Jon Venables. People say kids aren’t born evil. But I strongly believe he was.
“On that computer, he had images of kids being abused as young as two. He’s still a danger to the public. He’s blown his second chance. The images were disgusting. I believe he could go on to do another serious crime.
“There are indications Venables is an undiagnosed psychopath. He’s being kept in a prison when he should have been transferred to a secure hospital.
“He’s not right in the head. To kill a kid and to have all these things on his PC. I’m not saying he should never be released, I don’t believe that. But now is not the right time because he is a danger.”
Venables and Robert Thompson were just 10 when they snatched two-year-old James from a shopping centre in Liverpool then tortured and murdered him.
Denise is angry at the legal protocol which allows Venables to read her personal statement before it is recounted to the parole board where he will make his plea for freedom.

But she is unable see his version of how he believes he has been rehabilitated.
She added: “It’s all one-sided.”
Her lawyer Sean Sexton has asked for assurances the board will see evidence that James’s murder was sexually motivated before they give their ruling.
Tomorrow, Denise, her electrician husband Stuart, 37, and three sons Michael, 19, Thomas, 14, and Leon, 13, will visit the cemetery where her son is buried to mark the anniversary of his death.
She said: “It is a hard time, it’s brought everything back.”

Asked if she would consider meeting her son’s killers, Denise said: “I wouldn’t get the truth out of them. They are cunning liars. I’ve still got anger and hatred towards Thompson and Venables. I’ll never forgive them.”
James’s dad Ralph, who split from Denise, has asked people up and down the land to light a Chinese lantern tomorrow night in memory of his son.
And James’s brother Michael has told how Denise has been very protective of her children, so much so that he has never ventured beyond Liverpool or travelled alone on a bus or train.
He said: “I understand why.”

No, I do not think Venables is mentally fit to be released. He is an adult and was charged as an adult - doli incapax does not apply now as he knows right from wrong legally. To use a disguise and groom is the actions of a 'sexually sadistic predatory psychopath' and I am sure that if Brady is still in a unit for the criminally insane and delusional then so should Venables. If his 'hobby' of impersonating another in cybercrime comes out as it has to be predatory, he is stalking even behind bars. I agree with Denise as an academic in behavioural analysis that Venables is as evil as Ian Brady and as psychopathic. There is lots I could say, but am not allowed to say it. So the lawyers must see the only way is the evaluation by Hare and incarceration in Ashworth NHS for his delusional fixations and predations as the category above. He will kill and or inspire others to follow his demonic mindset of sexual cruelty and sadism. This is a warning and risk assessment. I stand by it.
